Ive been working on this, still only a rough start, but it works great. The whole air scoupe seals agianst the bonnet.....like I said its a rough start.

Ahhhh... that's the type of CAI you might see some gains from :)
Anyone tried using that flexi aluminium pipe, bending it to shape, fibreglassing over it and then cutting the aluminium out and keeping the fibreglass shell? Would be mandrel bent, smooth inside, wouldnt melt, and wouldn't conduct heat. Also wouldn't look like you've dug up some agdrain and cable tied it into your engine bay...

after reading an article on autospeed that mentioned the stock magna cai and it's flow rate i have decided not to bother with cai

its an 8th Gen US Model Galant, pulling some nice figures on that motor and a new ECU as well! and hes gonna turbo it *drools*

3 inch stainless steel pipeing custom bends goes down below my car for more cold air:D

Better to use a 100-to-90mm adpater, rather than 90-to-90. That way you can put the 100mm end OVER the airbox inlet, rather than stuffing it inside and reducing the inlet diamter.
Might not be enough of a restriction to matter, but you might as well do it properly, and a 90-to-100mm plumbing adapter costs about the same. Just might need to be orded in cos they are a bit rarer.

wat uses it over there? or would it have been imported? sorry for the off topic :)
