I was gonna ask how it was coming..
Few Q's
1) did you do the fibreglassing yourself?
2) i still have the remote to that HU, forgot to give it to you :(
3) how did the tacho go?
4) make it go faster now lol

its QuickSteal or something like that, its putty that when you combine it (mould together in your hands) its heats up and hardens in 15mins, yes me and my mate did it.
thats all good ill be getting a new hu soon... wait i do have a remote for it! you gave me one? lol
yes the tacho cable has to be connected to a wire in the engine bay, then it works fine :) tried for a while to find a wire out of the ECU, but nothing worked, so then had find the right one in the engine bay itself, ill take a foto for you tomorrow.
and yeah gauges and catch can give me an +20kw lol

When the oil heats up in your car it releases vapors, like steam to water, these are normally vented through your rocker cover then into a tube that leads to your intake manifold, it is then either burnt in your engine or it pools in your throttle body and your Plenum, the catch can collects this oil before it can make it's way into your Plenum.

Ricer!
Catch can?? Does your car produce that much pressure???
Don't you already have an Tacho on your dash???? lol
Seriously, Nice work on the moulding, will look 100 times better when you fit that volt meter in.
Now to remove that mini tacho and go a monster with a Shift light because you'll never know when the auto changes bro!! :bowrofl:

will NEVER go monster tacho with shift light! even tho it does give an extra 1000kw's!
also, i got the catch can for free... so why not? :P
and yes i do already have a tacho in my dash, but i got the 2 x 2" gauges + the 3 holder single din slot for $50 (i didnt get to choose the gauges) when usually its like $50 per gauge, so i got a good deal on it and was like... why not install it, its going to be the only ricer thing on my car!
yes if i get the option of getting a gauge to remove the tacho ill do it :)
ty for the moulding comment, took 4eva, ill take some pics of the final product in the day time.

What is this gear shifting you speak of... lol
For a really cheap alternative, cut the hose from your rocker cover and attach both ends to a new fuel filter ;)

i woud'nt use that type of hose to ur catch can coz that would'nt last the heat in ur engine bay guranteed it'l only take maybe a week 4 it to collapse. use the heavy duty once:think:

Your kidding right? The amount of oil that mysteriously goes missing overnight cant back you up on that one lol. I think my thrust bearing has gone in the clutch, its either that or the engine that rattles while taking off/driving.
I can assure you that my engine has had a harder life than yours....
