hey guys. i went to take off a few streets from my place today...it went forward like 10m's then jus free revved out, in any gear too (automatic).

the idle adjusts according to which gear its in like usual so im thinking maybe ive spat a driveshaft or something?...it got towed to a gearbox shop to have that checked out first.

does anyone have any previous experience with this matter?... as i wont know anything till tuesday at the EARLIEST and its really bugging me cuz i need it to get to work everyday.

thanks guys.

I'm no auto expert, but I'll have a guess it's your gearbox. Driveshaft will usually give out a mighty bang if I'm not mistaken. Manual conversion time?

5speed or 4speed auto, how many k's are on ya car, the 5 speed seem to go very easy, always thought the 4 speeds were pretty tuff, depending on how many k's,
Could you use reverse at all?

117 500 k's

it'll go manual if its a ****ed box

Maby the computer is fried and wont go out of neutral? As the shifter has no mechanical contact to the gearbox it's self

Not just how much was in there, but what colour was it? This can point out problems in your tranny.
