allright had my car serviced last friday...and noticed that my engine drones now at 1800rm in 1st or 2nd gear mainly....and quite obvious when its cold, not so when it warms up.

the guys who serviced my car didnt put the air filter back properly oringinally and i thought it was that..so i took it out and put it back in properly but it still does that. the rubber around the airfilter is a bit loose due to the mechanic forcing the thing in. but i did put it back into place.

im pretty sure my car doesnt drone before the service, what else should i be looking at? i am gonna try puting my old airfilter in later to see if it still drones..

NEVER take your car back there again, ever. Coudln't fit the air filter back in? Come on!

Try one of Barry's kits maybe.

apparently there are some TJ 3.0 out there, very rare...ive got 1 of the last 3.0's 2002 built
series 1.5, MY02..

yeah i think ive located the prob, the car had a rear end previously, and while trying to hammer the spare tyre compartment back into place, it mustve touched the exhaust somehow... will get it checked out soon.

haha, i mean it had been rear ended or hit from behind

nah the bumper bar got a dent inwards..car drives fine but the hit distorted the tyre storage compartment
