lol Yeah it gets like that doesn't it :P Thankfully I had some paint damage on the bootlid so it sorta gave me an excuse to respray it, no more fade anymore!

yeah i debadged my old pulsar, only to discover fade.
So i had the rear tailgate resprayed. but then it looked better than the rest of the car
so i ended up having the whole car resprayed.

Just debadged mine. Used a hairdryer and a screwdriver. The paint under the badge was nice and matched the car, it was just the outline of the badge that was faded and sundamaged. I used some carwash on the faded parts and it came up almost perfect :D Will do a quick cut and polish to finish it off once it dries and it should be perfect :)
Very easy mod.

...Used a hairdryer and a screwdriver...
A screw driver is a big non reccommendation, WAY too easy to scratch or dint the car.
Try Fishing line or Dental floss next time.

I was very careful and went slowly. I found that once the screwdriver head was behind the badge it was very very hard to scratch the paint as the glue stuff acted like a bumper on the paint. Once the badge was off I peeled the glue off by hand using a cloth over my long manly finger nails :p

HAHA manly fingernails
Use WD-40 spray it on the gum and let it soak for 10 minutes then scratch it off.
Takes a few times but it works well :D

1st time i debadged it, took over 2 hours, did not want to scratch it ONCE
did the fishing line trick followed by bug and tar remover, but of course, as life goes on you find easier ways to do things...
and the WD40 trick is one os those, really does work good

You can see a a tiny bit of fade in sunlight but otherwise it's great. Feels good driving around and people not knowing it's a V6 :) Just need to convert it to manual

I should do that to my friend's Diahatsu Charade and convince people that it really isn't a 3 cylinder.
