Hey guys, ive spent a whole day laying Dynamat extreme on my bootlid. Ive put it all over, and inside. All up i used 4 sheets from the bulkpack. I also tightened all my screws, bolts, and have made the boot close tighter.
I however still have a rattle coming from my spoiler, and it gets on my nerve. It has reduced a fair bit from what it was before the Dynamat, but, it still rattles.
how have you guys fixed this ?

I hate you bob, lol. Not the thing I wanted to hear :(. But there must be a way.
I think the TJ spoiler setup is shocking. There is in middle support like many other brands, and the spoiler is hollow on the inside. I even took on the leds, hoping, that i could access the inside and lay some Dynamat, but smart ol mishi, decided to not let me do this

Tape a brick down on top of it? :confused:
Which part actually rattles? Like does it rattle internally? or between the actual bootlid and bottom of spoiler? etc..

The only part that rattles bad, is the brake light. If i hole down the top of the spoiler above the led, the rattle stops.

I cant really picture a 3rd gen spoiler... but if the whole stoplight assembly is removable;
Get some silastic.. take the light assembly out, pack silastic in the cavity, put the light back in and let it set. Sounds messy/dodgy, but you wont see it once its all together.

yeah i have the same problem on my VRX wing, i put some foam under my light assembley, but now the individual LED globes rattle and its glued together, you cant get rid of all the rattles just reduce them at best.
so i just either sit in the car while listening, so i cant here the rattle or just open the boot, hope u didnt slow your car down too much by adding all that sound deadening material :)
