Hi Guys,

My TL AWD is due for its 60 000km service. I have done the oil/filter change myself. What else will need to be done? How much am I up for?

Also, can anyone recommend a reliable/reasonably priced mechanic in the Sutherland Shire?

Cheers, Dave

I'm guessing it's an auto.

Brake pads and transmission oil flush + change and replacement of filter.
Inspection of spark plugs, suspention, belts and tyres.
Wheel allignment.

Replace the brake pads yourself.
Transmission oil Filter is probably contained within the trans box (being a TL) so get the mechanic to change the oil and filter. ~$140-200

You can inspect spark plugs yourself.
Any leaks in the towers of your Shocks (suspention), get them checked out.
Belts and tyres are straight forward, visual inspection and tention test(belts).
Worry about the timing belt at 100,000kms.
Any Repco service centre or Bob Jane can do a wheel allignment for you.

Hope that gives you a rough idea of what your looking at.

Thanks champ.
That doesn't seem too pricey. I'll definitely do the brakes myself.
