Hi guys
I have 2 Questions
1. This is probably a noob question but I couldn't find the answer for it searching this forum. Is a Sway Bar the same as an Anti Roll Bar?
2. Has anyone here used Acellara Tyres? I just got a really cheap offer and was wondering if they were any good. Brochure (http://www.yhi.com.au/Downloads/Accelera_Brochure.pdf)

yeah i have used the alpha in a 205/40/17 on my huyndai accent and getz
they are a very stiff sidewalled tyre and has much better lateral grip than the later nankang ns2's that i put on it...
they do look a lil bit funny though, it was also mentioned to me that they are a silica compound (the alpha) although i dont know which ones you are looking at...
also they are a hard compound and got 60+k on my ex's car with little wear
although if you can get a better brand for not much more i know what way i'd be going

Thanx fellas
If you click on this --> Brochure (http://www.yhi.com.au/Downloads/Accelera_Brochure.pdf)
It's the last tyre listed in the 40 Series. It's the (235/40 R18 XL).
I was curious because I told the sales guy at F1 I wanted Maxxis 235/40ZR/18 and he told me these tyres are $400 dollars cheaper and "they are better". First thing I thought was yeah ok BS sales pitch but then I thought I'd better check with the guys here to see if anyone was "in the know".

I had the Tornado TO2s on my old R31 3.0 Skyline and they were quite a good tyre for the price, much better than the $100 each Goodyears that were on it when I got it. I know we are not talking big $$ in my case but the Tornados 205/65/15s were a big improvement on the goodyears and only cost me $70. In the wet you could floor it and get virtually no wheel spin, whereas the goodyears were dodgy and dangerous. I tried getting the Tornados again for the car but the stockists in Brisi at the time I needed them had none in stock.
I never had any probs with which I would expect is one of their cheaper tyres.
