hey guys

i did a quick search and i am confused :S.

Will the tickford TS50 rims fit my TJ VRX? the multi spoke ones ya know.

i know the PCD is right, but what about the offset? and also the tyres that came with the TS50 wheels were 245's i am currently running 225's so will i have an issue there, can i run 235's on the rim?

Also i haveseen on the ford forums that the front and rears were 2 different widths? :S

I am confused, someone help! lol

thanks in advance guys

Cheers Shibbs.

According to carsales research section, both front and back are 18x8 rims with 245/40R18
tyres. 235 wide tyres can fit 8" wheels.

Series 3 TS50 wheels have different offsets. Front is 36.5 and rear is 28.5. This is to give
wider track at the rear and hence more stable and looks better.

So if the wheels you are after are from a series 3, you are better of sourcing 4 from the
front wheels.

You may have to use 225/45R18 tyres as they will give you the best match with
225/50R17 OEM tyres. 235/40R18 would be 2% smaller and 235/45R18 would be 1.7%
bigger.

245/40R18 will stick out 20.5mm and 225/45R18 will only stick out 10.5mm due to 10.5mm
diff in offset.
