Of heard/read about people putting wheel spacers on their cars to provide quicker handling..

putting spacers on, as Mrmacomouto said, is illegal. and the performance gain would be very minimal.

its illegal for one. Not to mention then your wheels protrude your car body, which looks fricken stupid and is dangerous

oh and then there is the added stress to your hubs.

if you want quicker turning get a custom rack made up. that aussie/kiwi drifter in america has a custom made rack that is 1.8 turns lock to lock.
