Gday all.

Sorry if this subject has been flogged to death already, but I did a quick search and didnt really find the info I was after.
Anyway, the wife has a 2000 TJ Advance, with the standard plasticy-feel crap steering wheel, and I'd like to put a leather one in it.
Can anyone give me some ideas on what model Magna wheel I could use (VRX, Sports, Verada etc.) that will still use the existing air bag and have the correct cruise control stalk??
Also, while the wheel change itself wont be a drama, is there any tips I should follow with removing and replacing the air bag unit itself and the cruise stalk??

Cheers.
Brett.

BTW, I noticed that Phillcom has/had the leather covers, but maybe these are all gone by now.
Maybe that would be an easier option, if still available... Any thoughts??

Thanks again.

Hey buddy any wheel from a vrx/ralliart and verada will fit.

I got a ralliart wheel with no center piece or airbag and just used the center and bag off my vrx one no probs. Cost me like 30 bucks to get it swapped over, cause didnt wanna screw with the airbag personally lol

The cruise stalk is just a plug, nothing special, the stalk is part of the wheel and vrx/ralliart and verada all come with cruise as well

You can get your steering wheel profesionally wrapped in leather and fancy stiching and all that stuff.
Best mod i have done to my car. Makes it feel so much nicer with a solid thick steering wheel.
Not cheap though. Was like $380 for memory. Also had the gear stick wrapped in leather ($25), centre console lid ($30) and hand brake ($50) from blackmans.

mate i just got one of those from philcom and put it over my current factory wrapped leather wheel. it looks and feels better. I think Shawn had one left overr cos it did not fit a 2nd gen...just ask him...easy to stich, Well worth the 100 bucks for mine...let me know if ya want a pic. or check the info again

philcomm still has plenty, and at only $110, bargain for an exec wheel!
