TE with a 2.4L four cylindar. I'm just chasing some info regarding exhaust systems:
Is it worth going full system straight up? (engine to bumper)
What brands do you recommend?
What pricing am I looking at?
Did a search but I found heaps of different opinions, and I just want to get whats right for my lil four.

I know the general consensus for the TR 4cyl system (different car i know) is that it is rather well built for a stock setup, although gains can be made with a custom setup. Probably not some huge gains for the money spent if you're doing the extractors - 2.5 inch mandrel bent pipe - hi flow cat - straight through muffler deal (like $1000 or so) but most find a 2.5 inch cat-back (cat, mandrel bent piping, straight through muffler) system to do well. Throw a hotdog resonator in there too if you think it's too loud.
As for brands, most members recommend Redback or Lukey mufflers, and pacemaker extractors.

Many thanks. I'm chasing head turning noise at this stage as opposed to massive power gains... We'll cross that bridge later. ;)

Just be careful, cause you'll get busted for excessive noise. Me personally, once I have the money, I'm getting a 2.5" mandrel bent Lukey exhaust system with 2 4" tips and extractors of some type. That should be hella loud, but still just below illegal levels. Also, check that your getting the right sound. I really want that crispy sound which means changes to the system. Make sure you get your favourite.
