Hi guys, I managed to get a display trip meter/computer thing from a magna TJ. That upper console display unit thing where the speed limiter is? I don't know if I could install it in my TE. I will send a picture of how it looks like because I think I am missing some buttons?! Like mode and arrow buttons...

Sorry that Im not very clear, but could this be installed easily? Cause TE's have nothing displaying where the other magna's got speed limiter/trip/clock I believe?

I can tell you that the TE one is different to the TF, and im assuming your talking about the speed alarm display...

The TJ alarm display is different again to the TF. I think it would be difficult to replace it.
A friend of mine tried to put the TF display into his TE, the unit itself was bigger in size etc... so yer.

Okay as long as it fits in size I guess im okay... with it. But i don't get what u mean by "wat not so ye NO lol?"

Well it looks like it fits.. But the problem is... would it work with the TE? Cause the TE has only Petrol Light and Oil light (in memory serves me well) on the display unit. So my question is, could I get this display with the speed limiter/trip to work by locating and connecting it to the TE's LOOM?

Come to think of it, I don't know which magna model this came from cause it was badly smashed. I hope this trip computer has a clock at least.

lol wat i ment was you will need buttons, looms the wat not bit was a short form of saying and other things lol like getting it all hooked up back to the dash (to get the trip thingo working) so you might be able to do it but it will be very hard to do unsless you pay an auto elec to do it and they would chagre you a pretty penny. so the NO was just me saying dont do it not worth it no no no lol
