Hi just wanting to find out about the Verada electric windows.
I have a TJ exec with electric windows but the only window that has an auto function is the drivers and that is only in down direction, does the verada switch have auto up and down?
If it does the auto up and down does anyone know if they are swappable with an exec?
Thanks
Stephen

Veradas don't have auto up either mate, at least mine doesn't.

Veradas also start with K mate
eg: TJ Magna = KJ Verada and so forth.
Just for reference.

I Have a TJ with all 4 windows auto - believe it was an option.
However, no newer cars should have auto-up as it is a safety problem with people getting all sorts of body parts jammed in the closing window.
I have a 1995 Nissan Bluebird that does have auto-upon the driver's door but I think it wasn't long after that they were discontinued by the authorities.

My parent's 2003 LandCruiser has auto up/down power windows all round. If they detect an obstruction when automatically going up the windows will automatically go down a few inches and stop. Freaks people out the first time when you demonstrate this feature with your arm or leg :bowrofl:

My 2005 C2 have auto up and down.It doesn't matter which body part you stick out of the window when going up, glass will gently touch body part and go down all the way without damaging or cuting of earlier mentioned body part.

thanks for replies, was just hoping that could have popped in a verada switch and got full auto function. My old 3.0L skyline had the auto on the drivers window - never cust anything off.
In regard to the safety aspects just seems like another silly rule - I would have thought that the person who is in charge of a car would have been expected to have enough sense to not put an appendage out the window while it was closing.

My 2004 Tarago has auto-up on the drivers window.
So did my '89 Pintara....and I miss the auto-up functionality, as my Magna doesn't have it.
Cheers,
Martin.
