My mechanic just rang to tell me my front brakes and rotors on my TL awd are gone (rotors are undersize, pads about 90% worn).

I knew the brakes would need doing, but hadn't counted on the rotors! :cry:

What is my best value for money option. He said he can get aftermarket rotors on there for $120 each (plus labour) - can anybody point towards something better than this?

That's about right for standard DBA or RDA rotors. New pads your looking from between $60-$150 depending on whether you get standard or sport pads. Only way you can save some dollars is to do it yourself. If you can't/don't want too, then leave it to the brake specialists.
