Just stopped at the Petrol Station to give the car a drink (petrol) and empty my wallet (again!).

But this time, instead of my wallet refusing to open (it gets a little scared sometimes), it was my car that refused to open.

My fuel door/flap thingie wouldn't flip out when I lifted/pulled on the interior switch/lever.
I lifted the lever, but the fuel door remained closed.
Eventually after another 10-15 pulls, the fuel door opened, but not after some worrying and

1. If the fuel door will not open from the interior lever, is there some other (manual) way of opening it?

2. It is a bit stiff to lift/pull so maybe a bit of adjustment is needed. How do you adjust it?

Yer there should be the cable just behind the carpet on the left side of the boot, just giv it a yank if it wont open. Maybe try tightening the cable a bit if its loose.

Just stick your key in the crack of the fuel door and pop it open. Piece of cake.

Aw man i hate these kind of little problems that appear on the car. They annoy the hell out of me. Like they're not major problems but they make you think ohhhh man now what :(

Yep you should be able to udjust the cable behind the carpet.

Check out the workshop manual if you need to sus out where it is :D
