K I'm not a big fan of buying computer parts from the internet especially not ebay and I've done some hunting but haven't found anything.

Basically I need a VGA screen preferably touch screen that I want to fit a single din.

can ANYONE point me to a supplier that stocks car VGA screens please? :)

This place sells Xernarc Touch screens, and they are in melbourne, http://www.cdt.com.au/prod.asp?prod=MON122, but very $$$

u can use any screen with RCA inputs from a VGA source

The KV-M705 screen on ebay has a pixel resolution of 336,960, which works out to a resolution of 702x480... not as good as some linked to here, unless their stated resolutions are falsified :confused:

there u can get the same screen for $546 inc shipping...thats over $100 less than the other site ;)

lookin at the specs, seems like it will be a good quality, good resolution screen. as for audio quality or something, i have no idea, doesnt seem like it would be great, unless ur running the audio off something else with a cleaner signal :) and who knows about build quality, might be good, might be bad, sometimes just hit and miss :P

Much appriciated feedback guys :) Think I'm gonna go for some ideas i've seen and just get the 7" lilliput VGA and make up an enclosure for it.

One final question, Where the **** is my head unit gonna go!? I like my separate front and rear equalizer and Crossovers (Yay for Kenwood 25th)

quick question, how are u doing ur carputer? enclosure for a flip out screen...? no room for ur headunit..? enlighten me as 2 ur setup :)
