Hey all, I'm after a second set of rims, so I can chuck semi-slicks (Toyor R888 225/50/16 on them and use them for trackdays.

The 16"x6.5 Nissan rims seems to fit the bill, +40-45 offset, 5x114.3 and cheap as chips. The only potential problem is, I've been advised it is possible they have a different "hub bore diamter".

So, can anyone comfirm if nissan wheels fit on a 3rd gen?

I'm in Sydney, and 15" rims won't fit over my brakes (ralliart twinpots). Thanks anyway though.

On that note, can anyone comfirm if 16" nissan r33/s15/s14/maxima rims fit over the ralliart/awd front brakes?

r33 wheels should clear the brakes ok cause they have twin pot brakes on the front of them. only thing will be the hub. i lent a pair of my r33 rims to a mate to put on his falcon till he could get new tyres and they don't quite sit on all the way. the hub is too small to go on all the way, but he is still using them. there is only about a 0.5mm gap.

Hmm is this a safety issue if they don't fit completetly on the hub? the purpose of these rims will be for motorsport only...

i've tried both, the S14 ones don't fit on, or they do but are so tight that as soon as there is wheel movement, the nuts come loose, that's why i've stuck with the S15 on the green TJ you see in my previous post. both rear hubs fits fine, but for some reason, the front left is ok, but the front right hub is just a tad big for the wheel, so the nuts on my front right are EXTREMELY tight.

I have a set of S14 200sx rims in the garage.
I had them on my Hiace, and they didnt fit over the hub/wheels centres.
I took em to Neales Wheels, and they machined the inside of the rims to fit on the Toyota hub properly. It cost me $40 per rim to do.

I will be selling my 17's on my TJ in a couple of weeks, and before I do, I will chuck the s14 rims on to see if they fit of not...I'll let you know.

Thanks mate, Although I ended up getting a set of 16" black jap Rota brand rims at a great price, so this isn't an issue anymore :)

thats cause nissans center bore is 66mm where magnas are 67mm

FFS, just double-checked the hub diamter on these new rims, and sure enough, it's 64.7mm(compared to 67.1mm for magnas?). The seller told me the hub bore was 67.1mm, so I just took his word for it.

So I guess now I will have to get them machined after all...or will still sort of fit well enough?

EDIT: turns out the rim actually had aftermarket locating rings in place, I just need the right sized one for a magna (67.1mm).
