Good day, guys. I'm really new not only on the forum but in Australia also. I've just arrived from Russia few months ago=). Now studying in Mq uni. So, it was just introduction=)

Now, the subj is:

I'm going to by magna here. Actually I wanted to by toyota chaser, but prices are very high here, at home it's much cheaper=). So, about magna, I've found one offer on the carsales, this one: http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/private/MITSUBISHI/MAGNA/details.aspx?__Ns=pCar_PrivateSpecialFlag_Int32|1| |pCar_ImageCount_Int32|1||pCar_LastModifiedDate_Da teTime|1&Make=MITSUBISHI&__Nne=20&R=1117261&PriceMin=2500&PriceMax=10000&state_id=80&__N=4294964597+80+461+408+4294964374+834+285+257&distance=25&trecs=63&Model=MAGNA&__sid=10F0C2AB9B6A&silo=1003&Cr=5&seot=0&State=New%20South%20Wales

What do you think about this magna, solara, is it ok?? price??

Nice car!

Hmm remember to ask if the major servicing has been done or else you'll gonna be spending more money. Also you may try to lower it down to 6.5k. I think thats still a reasonable price just bring down cash and say thats all you have are you willing.

I suppose the rest of the standard checks like revs and a roadworthy cert. Remember after you get the car bring it to your mech to double check you never know and you maybe able to claim back as I've had bad experiences with RWC from the sellers.

Well good luck!

Cheers!

Not really but well theres no harm in trying to get as much off as possible. Well the most you'll pay should be 7k ask for a 100 off! Ha ha!!

Cheers

yep unfortunately the 2nd hand magna market isnt the best, so keep in mind you can probably haggle them down a bit.

Well given all said and done. I feel and deeply believe Magnas are bloody good value for money.
You'll be really hard press to find a car of this spec/luxuries for these prices.

few quick answers

yes, thats an excellent price for a TJ with low kms and the solara extras (mainly power windows and that cool two tone paint)

but screw them, because thats what the second hand car market is for. i got screwed selling my old car, i screwed the guy who sold me his (my magna in avatar) and so should you.

if you are unfaimilar with the aussie use of the word "screwing" please note i do not mean it literally. :)

yes he does!!! ^^^^ in order to get the car cheaper, you must perform some "man on man" lovin, or as its called "dude sweat", should knock a few hundred off :D
happy screwin,
tom
