i've got my car as a hand me down off my parents so they've given it to me with worn shocks and it needs new tyres.

what's the difference between the monroe sensa-trac which my dad reconmends to me or the monroe gt gas ?
is there any other shocks to look at which are value for money.
as new tyres and shocks will send my bank balance into the red.

Sensortrack are a more std shock (damper) however the GT Gas are a heavy Duty Damper.
The monroe site has some information on it. If you are looking at lowering it at any stage GT Gas will be the way to go

The RPW pricelist quotes the Sensatrac @ $300 p/pair from or back, & Koni adjustables (god knows which model) @ $380p/pair from or back.

For the extra $160 I wrekon it would be really worth it.

I get the Gen 1 GT Gas for about $115.50 a pair for rear and front s are about $140.86 for each side. Say around $400.00 for the full set.
