its near your break master thingo, but down a bit its a black long thing

do you know what your fuel pressure reg looks like?? run you hand along the return line which goes away from the engine... it runs to the fpr im pretty sure.

On the firewall, towards the centre and below the level of the brake booster.

I had to ask too a while back.

This is correct. Look at your brake booster and then down some, should be a little black/whatever-colour coke-can-sized thing bracketed to the firewall with two hoses coming out of it..

Thanks everyone , i was looking for either one of those clear plastic inline things or one of those white coke can sized ones like in the diesel landcruisers i am used to.

i was going to change it out myself but i reckon i will just wait for a service. sounds a bit fiddly..

if you are going to try atleast make sure you have a proper pipe spanner (14mm) or you will cry when it all goes very wrong and you need a new fuel line

Assuming it's a 2.6 (not sure about the 3l but might be similar)

Get a decent 14mm flared spanner for the bottom nut and an open end spanner to hold the one above, a socket with long extension for the top one, remove the black plastic pipe that goes from the throttle body to the air filter (unscrew two hose clamps) to give you heaps of access and it will take all of 5 minutes.

Change the thermostat while you're at it and have everything removed.

Now you're at 10 minutes!
