i really would like the thank the f*^%%%n low life :flame: who just stuck part of the friggen kerb on the road which i just hit in my car!! now the auto is making a "whirring noise" that seems to get louder the faster you go (above 20 kmh) i think its the auto or maybe transfer (car is awd kl verada) looked underneath quickly and could see the front exhaust b4 the cat had taken a belting and the engine support bracket (runs from front of car to the rear of motor) so atm im really pissed.any ideas ppl? its 11.00pm so cant get a good look til morning.
doesnt look like any fluids have spilty (i.e cracked sump/s) and i was travelling approx 60 kms

after the rest is straightened out thats probably that you will find

next would be the hub bearing or some dammage to the tyre balance

then check brakes

I had this happen to me in another car (not a magna) and it turned out to be that the brick (in my case) had knocked a plastic splash-guard onto another part which was causing them to rub causing a whirring sound. Had me confused cos the car drove fine just sounded bad.

I had to get it up on stands and get right under to see it properly though.

Either way, hope it's a quick/cheap/easy fix for you, some little dicks don't realise how much damage they can do with **** like this.

just had a look under neath seems the talshaift has taken a hit as well as some of the exhaust will post pics in a few mins,seems like a ticking noise aswell prob isnt the auto but the tailshaft/c.v`s ill havta get me mechanic to look at it as you can see in the pics the centre bearing is out of shape and the tail shaft has a big dent in it.
