I am considering what to replace the trusty old KS v6 with.
Does anyone know the true differences (not cosmetic) between Verada, Magna and Magna Sports. I am referring to handling (how different are the suspensions), are gearbox ratios the same. Are steering setups different. I imagine the Veradas, being heavier and probably having more sound insulation are quieter and not as nimble as the Magnas. What shocks were factory fitted to Sports. How los is sports compared to other Magnas/Verada?
Are Sports much better handling than other Magnas. Or could one with minor changes make a Magna handle as well as or better than Sports. I am interested in both the older TF/KF etc and newer models. I am 90% sure my next car will be a Magna/ Verada. Now to work out which model. Having had excellent service from my TS, coupled with low prices for used Magnas/Veradas, nothing else enters into the equation.
BUT are later series AS GOOD AS second gen. On these forums I read about all sorts of probs with 3 rd gen. My old TS V6 is at 298 000 km on original engine (replaced timing belts, water pump, valves stem seals, nothing else) and Gearbox (only End clutch pack replaced, $100 and 5 hours work). Running on original drive shafts etc. It is driven hard and serviced well.
Comments very welcome.
