I need to get that dam silencer off my muffler, its not sounding as throaty as it could and could be holding back a few horses. Just so you know it was on there before i got it. I am not close top being a mechanic so i am gonna need some help on this one please. Any ideas.

most silencers have an allen key style bolt on them...just unscrew it.

there should be an allen key screw along the tip of the muffler.. just hope they havent put it on the top part (area ur bumper is) coz itll be hard to get it off. once you unscrew it, just use ur hands and try and grip the silencer and yank it out.

it looks like it doesn't have a key to open it, or i just can't see it. have you tried jamming something in there and pull it out?

take the bolt out and start it up and hit rev limiter and that will moe it just get a mate 2 stay be hind and tell u if it is movign cause i do that lol

The dam thing has been welded in. Need to get an exhaust specialist to have a look.
