Hoi all,

Mate of mine just gave me a working amp for free that i dont want.. and we want to kill it somehow, something thatll look cool on camera and maybe get a laugh or something.. i need suggestions!

Atm the thoughts are to run it down to 0.25ohm and smoke it. anything think of anything more fun?

its a Boss amp :P

petrol, .25ohm, match, oh and to make ture its getting enough power to run a .25.... 240volts should go nicely :D

Trade it with me for my almost ****ed amp, then ruin my amp.

weve got a bit of a tradition with Boss amps. destroy them, then use them as birthday plaques, everyone sign it and give it to the bday person :)

do like the top gear thing with the hilux do increasinly bad things to try and kill it

get your self a crap sub for like 10, 15 bucks. then light the sub and amp on fire whilst playing music.:badgrin:

make sure u get ya "moneys" worth! start small, say running 1 or .5 ohm, see if you can cook an egg on it or something! and then something more destructive, fire seems to be a popular option

hmm well you want to destroy it eh... hook it up to 12 volts, run it on 2ohm, set the gains at a nice comfortable level, play some music, not to loud.... and for the imple fact that its BOSS.... before long it should sh*t itself and catch on fire, me personally.... id chuck it out of a moving car doing 120km/h or so, watch the parts fly!!!

use some ****ty subs and run it at like 2 ohms and cook ur dinner on it :P

i have owned so many amps over the ????? two years that i have had my magna and i have killed every one of them the best way i can think of is to get a 240V power cord put a fuse box to it so u dont F up any of ur eletrical systems and then plug it into ur amp :bowrofl: very dangerious i dont recomend doin it but thats the best way i can think of........... unless u use petrol and a match:bowrofl:

Destroyed my old Audiobahn amp by roping it to my tow ball and dragging off with a vy clubsport on maroondah hwy. worked a treat!

Cook dinner on it, and burn it, then run over it, then whats left, throw it out of the car doing like 150km/h and collect the remaining bits for the plaque

seen as its a boss amp
hook it up like you would normally wire up a amp
then turn it on
in a little while it will catch on fire from overheating on a small load :D

Step #1. Build medievil style catapult in front yard.
Step #2. Round up a crowd, neighbours, pubo's, kids on their way home from school, homeless ppl, who ever.
Step #3. Enlist a mate to take bets on which yard it will land in (illegal betting is only illegal IF you get caught)
Step #4. Arm catapult.
Step #5. Load amp.
Step #6. Adorn appropriate PPE, steel cap welly's, high vis overalls, hard hat, self recurer, glasses, BA.
Step #7. Give it to her, watch that baby fly.
