Hi All,
I am not getting subs - like the boot too much but i want to do a small install with the amp and some perspex windows and neons - however - where can i get carpet from - the style that is in the boot to blend the display in and also perspex windows or acrylic sheets - only small windows - maybe 750mm x 500mm max!!
I wanna have the amp in a flase floor with a perspex window embossed Manual with green neons around inside it so it glows green!!
Cheers

Spotlight has stuff pretty cheap if you have one near you.
That's where I got my carpet stuff from for my sub box and door trims

Just go a a motor trimmer. I got carpet when I made a new parcel shelf in my old car for about 15 bucks. Looked better than what was in there orignially.
I'm also thinking of doing an amp install, so I'd be interested to see what yours eneds up looking like

Just a note on perspex, I've heard several people complain about cost and saying that it's cheaper just to go with plain glass in the case of box building since it doesn't flex as easily.. Just something to think about...

I wont be building a box out of it - just using some for a window to have light glow through

Should be fine then, although probably expensive... Let us know how it goes in the end =)

There will be no speakers in the box area!!
All I am after is a similar thing to Gamisou - just a space to have a neon shine through to give the impressions of shapes!! just a space filler really - the speakers are already mounted properly.
Cheers anyway though - and wouldn't mind checking out your install!!
