I believe the later models (TL-TW) used the same remotes, but did all the 3rd gen models use these remotes?

no, the TE/TF had the older style remote, all models TH onwards had that style (same time they changed the immobiliser setup too)

Same as respective magna.

my 99 TH wagon uses that type

TH Onwards use that remote.

Te has one button, looks kinda like a peanut

TF has one with 2 or 3 buttons, but the buttons are grey.

Veradas are same remote as similar Magna.
