Ok, so i stuffed up.... lol

Last night a mate n i were taking off my front grill to put the TH grill..... Used a Screwdriver to unclip the clips and as the last clip came off, the grill popped out and the screwdriver snags the A/C Radiator.... So i had a slow leak of the A/C, now i need to find a replacement radiator for it....

Does anyone know how hard it is to replace?

Radiator or AC condensor?

The condensor is a PITA because you have to take the radiator out and all the fans off.

The can be repaired hey, for fairly cheap if you drop the unit to the radiator/aircon shop just for the repair. That would be you're best bet.

I only know this because I once wound an aircon compressor out too far to adjust the belt and when the engine started it punched a hole in the radiator  You learn from your mistakes ay.

They just use a sealant that can withstand water and high temps. Very cheap to fix my dads radiator got a leak and they patched it up for $20.

How the **** do you manage this?

Its like 6 clips that you can get off with your fingers in like 30 seconds MAX.

Not too sure how the condenser diffs to a regular radiator (too cold outside to go and check)
but I had a radiator with pin holes in some cooling fins. For a quick fix a mate at Natrad just cut the fins top and bottom and soldered the ends closed. Worked fine for 3 months till I got new one. He reverse flushed and painted it aswell for a 6 pack.

To fix the condensor isnt hard ; but then the Air cond system needs to be evacuated , to remove moisture from the system , probably a new receiver/dryer , then a regas......
