I just went to the wreckers and managed to get a centre display with the clock on it off a KJ verada. This is the unit that sits on top of your middle- air vents.

Do you think I could installed it? When I took it out of the verada, there were no buttons with it, there was only a loom. So Im guessing I could replace the one in the TE. Im just wondering how am I suppose to set the clock if there are no buttons? :confused:

I really have no clue. I thought they would've been next to the unit somewhere. There was nothing except the loom connected to it and I cut it out. Perhaps on the dash maybe?
I've also got another one with a trip computer on it, not sure has that one got a clock but its off a TJ, and I still see no buttons next to it.

dont think you can install it as its got more features apart from just the clock

lol who needs the speed alarm...Just wire the clock up i guess, and petrol light, don't need the other features.

Im just gonna go in the wrecker and get the buttons on monday. hopefully it won't go/display all funny cause i don't have the speed alarm hooked. I assume that you just hook eveyrthing back up properly and it should work?

Well I sold my TH and now got a TL. So I didn't bother with it. That thingy is hard to get and you're lucky. Well I would say if you like to know more ask 'Jasons VRX'. He's done it and knows alot about it.

Where the TJ one has a TRIP Computer but no clock im guessing. Part Num: MR906

I wanna install the one with the trip computer, but I need a clock as well!

I was looking to get a Verada screen (with trip & clock) and whilst I know it can be easily connected as per Jason's instructions, I wonder whether simply getting a dash surround with the HMS buttons would allow the time on clock to be changed. I would assume so, but that part is not mentioned. However, if it is that simple, I might start scouring some wreckers.

Im pretty sure its just the dash surround bit with the buttons on it that u need. But having the wires from ur car available might be a pain.
I don't know if my TE has all available wires. I want the trip/clock as well. I got two in my face now and one has a clock and the other has the trip.
U gotta be careful which one u get though, I got one off the verada but it only has a clock.
