hey yesterday when i started my car after being sitting there for 2 days, and a flat battery, trying to crank her twice before leaving to charge, my car started to make a funny noise when it was idleing, i turn around and to my horror i see black smoke comming out of the exhaust, i started it thismorning and now its seams to be fine, what is going on dad reckons it was just lots of moisture in my system, but i sware i could smell burning oil, as it was smelling like a 2 stroke

Sounds to me like the car had overfuelled/'flooded'. Black smoke is caused by too much fuel and too much fuel will also cause your car to run rough

:stoopid:
every given your car a rev on a cold morning when you just start it up, you may see the same thing and yes the unburnt fuel smells....
even more of a shock horror was when i started my car and it was pumping out heaps of oil smoke  (my s/c'd awd that is) i was like omg its stuffed.... anyway there was a simple explination for it and its all good now, but i though sh!t i just spent 7k on the s/c and now i need a new motor  lol

i never rev it when engine cold, but ive started it on cold mornings and never had it happen before, some 1 suggested i might need a engine rebuild soon, but i think it would be cheaper to drop in a second hand motor

I would say its due to the car sitting there, and because you have a few exhaust mods. May be running rich too because of it who knows. As long as it isnt blue smoke (oil), or white smoke (fluid), I dont think you should be too worried about it.
