Hi guys,

does anyone know how to remove the chrome trim on the roof gutter? I want to respray the roof after fixing some rust,and would like to remove the trime first.Any ideas?

i can just snapp mine on and off with my finger gently that is.start at one of the corners if u have to use a flat head screwdriver to lightly pry it off. or get a conrer off and slide the stripe off. there held on by plastic clips. u really need to go out to ur car and just fiddle with it till you see how to do it. haha if you can't get the chrome strips off maybe u should let someone else work on ur car:D :bowrofl: :D

just take your time and u'll get it , it's not rocket science:cool:

mine broke doing Casper the plastic clips are glued in with the windscreens

old fart suggested resealing with sikaflex I am sure you can buy the fasteners from a winsdcreen fitting outfit

just ease of the side chrome once bent it dowsnt look too good

if you try to skrew the chrome on you make a hole for water
