Hi all. Final quarter this year (November) I'm planning a trip to Brisbane with a mate for his 18th and while I'm there I'm hoping to get some performance mods done on my TJII VR-X.
Why am I telling you this you may ask? Well, I have very little idea what I actually want to get done exactly. As detailed as I can get is as follows:

Lowered approx. 1/2 - 1 inch
All upgraded suspension
Dual exhaust, upgraded exhaust
Extractors

Also I've heard people mention 'grounding kits' and I haven't been able to figure out what that is and what it does but if it helps I want it.

So any advice, pics, links and specs people can give me in regards to those kind of mods as well as any suggestions on other mods I might be able to look at getting would be greatly appreciated so I can have a better understanding of what I'm going to get done (money's no object, I'll pick and choose what I can afford at my discretion)

Cheers in advance! :D

a grounding kit wont make u go faster, it will just stop dimming of your lights if u have a big stereo install

Grounding kits improve the resistance between engine components and the negative terminal of your battery, not much gains to be had, but they look pretty. There are plenty of threads on grounding kits, did you try searching? There's even a writeup in something like Wheels... Someone scanned the pages.

Ok cool so I'll look at a grounding kit when I do my big stereo install. What can anyone tell me about the other mods I want? Things like cost, performance gains, different brands, all that kind of stuff basically anything and everything there is to know I'm hoping to get as much information as possible before I go down so I know and get exactly what I need

Best advice anyone can give you is do a search and read over the hundreds of pages of peoples experiences. Also check out the new FAQ page.
