Hey guys,

Just wondering is it possible at all for power windows to try overclose? if it makes any sense, since the downpour we've had in adelaide in the last week, my windows go up and down as normal, but when you try put it up to the top, it makes a sound like it's hitting something.

Prior to the rain it used to close nicely, now it sounds like it's hitting something, has anyone experienced this? I've tried silicon spray but it hasnt done anything. would it be something i can get done under warranty?

Try taking the inside door skin off and having a look if anythings impeeding the windows' travel. Or if you don't fancy that and the car is under warranty, take it to Mitsubishi and get them to do it.

Cheers, thanks for the reply, i think I'll take it in to them tomorrow and also get them to replace the passenger airbag cover. it just seems odd that the rain could cause this??

Yeah, moisture does funny things to cars. Could be something really simple like the window getting caught on a wire or something. Best to let Mitsubishi have a look, especially if you're under warranty.
