I used the boot carpet as a Template. Should be very snug when i go to fit it.

How will you get it in the boot?
I have a feeling you might end up cutting it in half to be able to fit it through.

It will be in 3 pieces. All will be carpeted. Actually 4 pieces because of the Amp tray.

Best thing i can recomend is that if it doesnt fit dont recut the same wood, either sand it snug with a power sander or start again.
If the carpet template was too big, use the original masonite cut.
Inside of the boot wall on a friends TF is all hacked up cos he recut and didnt sand.
... God that reminds me ive gotta start mine soon.

I have the finished basic design that i did on Inventor here. Will look like this in the boot, but with carpet of course.

Are you walling out the back of your boot or are you making it so your drop door is still usable?

Still usable. It is only going to be the floor for now.

Does anyone know anything about our Parcel Shelfs? I need to minimize the rattle in it...

Putting sound deadening under it could help. Dynamat's a popular brand.

when i finished mine in the XT i took it to an audio joint and got them to run it over with dynamat and expanding foam to reduce the rattle.

The parcel shelf in magnas are steel.
I got the ****s with it tonite though... I need to find a way to secure it all... make it all even wen its in the car.
Any suggestions?
I also need to find a way to support the little box that holds the amps level with the floor... The thing that sits in the hole in the sparetyre well.
Suggestions???
Anyway update, put the amp box together and carpeted the bottom.... sides to go tommorrow and then need to cut the floor to fit in the car, then i am carpeting that...
Then all i need to do is put it in the boot properly and wire everything up.

The only rattle i get off my car is the tray (i thought was the parcel shelf) the speakers are mounted on and the boot lock.

Update,
All i have to do tonight is finish putting the feet on, then start wiring everything up!!!! Yes, i can see the finish line...
It is all carpetted and looks good, apart from where i ran out of carpet..... lol, oh well, cant have everything... it looks a little dodge where it joins...
I have a photo of it uncarpetted sitting in the boot... without the amp tray that is...
