The price at the moment is $105 each + postage for 5+ people, so this is more suited to the QLD guys as I can bring along the filters to the next meet and we can install em while waiting for all the other members to arrive. RRP on these filters is $149.90 according to the Autobarn near my place.

For all the interstate guys, it may end up being cheaper buying it through this buy, then going to Autobarn etc.

If you wish to purchase one then post here and show your interest.

This buy will go through next week Monday which is 16th February 2004. If you are needing the bank details as to where you must deposit the money please PM me and I shall forward them to you. I shall inform the supplier that I want 5 filters and then he shall tell me when the payment must be in by. Interstate buyers, I will only be able to calculate postage once I receive the actual filters, so deposit the $105 into my account and then at a later date I shall advise the interstate buyers as to what is happening with theres.

KnN panel - the way to go!

also...check out REDLINE...they are about $40-50 cheaper...and suck harder then KnN. not sure if there is a magna range thow.

Redline has been emailed to see if they make a product for the 3rd Generation Magna's. If so, I shall try and organise a buy for these filters too, but until then it is just the K&N filters.

oh and someone mentioned something about the retail price of these.
Last week i picked one up for $129 from Autobahn. I got a quote of $149 from supercheap so i didnt argue about this price from autobahn ;)

Gen 2 and 3 use a totally different panel.
the gen 2 is thinner and smaller.
The Gen 3 forms part of the casing.

what are these?

These are Reusable replacement panel filters that give slightly better air flow. These filters give you the advantage of ditching the old paper filter that gets replaced every few services for something that after a few services pretty much pays itself off. It just slots straight into where your standard filter is. As easy at that!
