I did ask this in a separate post, but how do radas perform next to vrxs cos im looking to buy an 01 model of either, i like the sheer sportyness of the rex but if the rada has similar specs, i wouldnt mind the trim

2 different purposes, the vrx just packs a bit more punch and is slightly lighter

high k's for an 03 but i guess thats made up by the fact that its a GTVi, just dont jump on the first thing you see, but thats not a bad price for what it is.. find out if a major service has been done and make sure that its had all its proper services, then it should be ok

Hell yes mate.

Honestly, the difference between the 2 is SFA, Personally Id take the 'Rada simply because the small performance difference between the VRX and the Verada can easily be attained by an exhaust and a few mods such as headers. (Assuming they are both 5spd auto)

Whereas try spending the same cash on trimmings to get the VRX up to Verada spec in terms of goodies and I guarantee youll come up short.

Depends what you want man. They're different animals. If you want a sports car and want something with a bit of poke (would the VRX be manual or auto?) get the VRX, if you want a comfy cruiser, get the rada. I raced Snow's rada (3.5) the other week in my car and the difference was pretty full on.

With that rada you've spotted, make sure if you're gonna buy it that it's had the major service done (timing belt, sparks etc) because that'll cost you $1500 straight up.

Could not of said it better myself, its a personal choice but id prefer the VRX as I like the more sporty feel, the verada's feel like more cruiser/relaxed cars (dont get me wrong the power of both are great :D The Vrx feels better in manual but also have the tippy for the auto-lovers-who-wanna-be-manual  I also suggest driving both models, thats a good way to see which one you fall in love with.

verada if u dont feel like losing ur license in the first year ;) dunno wat it is with the car, just dont overly have the urge to really thrash it, maybe its all the woodgrain lol!

which dealership is it at? if u go wanneroo mitsu, i'll say i recommended u and i'll get $150, so go to them :P

great price tho, just hope its highway k's... bought my 03 KJ Ei for $18k at the start of the year, with about 65,000k's on it. but its black

the gtvi sounds good, bit high on the k's. Nice comfortable car, if you were going to get a manual vrx then I would still get one of them but if you were going to get an auto get the verada. Verada is more comfortable, has more electrics, nicer interior (especially without fake woodgrain in gtvi)

Id personally go a rada over a vrx any day. The sheer luxury and comfort of them for me outweighs the sporty-ness of a vrx, magnas a excellent cars to drive, and even better in luxury.

Now i wish i had a rada.

i may be a bit bias in my decision, but go the verada, it doesnt take much to get em up there playin wit the vr-x and sports models. u'r most likely gonna modify the vrx any way, so why not do it in style.

and plus they look ****in hot. . . .

if it's a rada gtvi i think that has the VR-X springs + exhaust so yeah it'll be 5 speed tippy + 163kW, only bad thing is it weighs a bit more then the VR-X.

The Verada GTVi is dead sexy though if it's the GTVi it'd have GPS Sat Nav right? And black leather and probably a sunroof and the woodgrain gear shifter + steering wheel. Bloody nice cars. If you wanted a manual, then get a VR-X i reckon, but it's up to you!

Normally you'd still pay atleast $17kish for a GTVi, they are quite rare! Only thing it doesn't have is passenger electric seat and steering wheel audio controls (which it can't as it has a different steering wheel off of the Jap Spec Diamante (Exceed I think)).

Ahhh bummer, Keep looking m8.

Something to keep in mind though if you ever come across 'TJ' GTVi is that it comes standard with all the VRX running gear in it already ie. 163kw Motor, Sports Suspension, Hi Flow Exhaust, Sway Bar etc.

Just not Manual Transmission. Tippy Only.
