Just thought I'd post a little chop I did to the VRX stock front bumper. I think the open grill looks pretty good.

Not my car by the way, I wish.

As above you would need to put something in there otherwise you'd see too much.
Also i don't know how physically possible it is, you would have to cut into the original bumper behind it as well, dunno if it would be strong enough without modification to the mounts.

Open grill looks way better. I've been doing a few photochops of my car's body to see what I can do with it. Cost of the work involved is the main drawback. But for me working as a spray painter with co-workers/mates who have experience with panel beating & fibreglass work, it'll work out pretty damn cheap for the mods I'm planning.

But don't forget, it the photochop it is nice and black where in real life light would get in there and you would see all the stuff the bumper hides. It would have to be meshed.

That was my first thought "It looks like a smiley face Magna"
Too be honest it doesn't look too bad, I have seen alot worse kits out there. I think its a nice subtle mod to the original kit and if it is possible then go for it.
Davo!

not bad at all! the original VRX front bar looks very clutered and busy i think. just chuck some mesh and it would look awsome!

Here is my attempt.
lol nice photochop, but it looks like a smiley face! paras = eyes, TJ bonnet = nose, grille = nostrils, front bar a big smiling face, side mirrors are ears.
My turn, took the busy bits out. Still doesn't look quite right though.

if you could, use mine and invert the side struts so that it looks like the TL+ VRX angry
mouth.

Woah, I really like the look of that.
After seeing that, I'd love to do it to mine. I'd hate to imagine the cost tho. I guess it wouldn't be cheap to get the bar modded and repainted. Plus to get it looking schmicko, I reckon it'd be worth re-doing the grille so that the mesh in the bumper and the grille matched.
I can always add it to the wishlist :p

haha thanks...to be honest the smiley versions of this bar would be alot easier as you would just need tot ake out the middle slats...but my version u have to create a whole new peice, but still yeah i recon it looks awesome....lol if only i had a VRX front bar haha
This would not be hard to do. A good DIY job.

Sorry dont quite understand... say again, I'm keen to give it a go whatever it is.

Basically what mozzaldinho did but angle it in more at the top to make it look angry as

Here's a simple mod, shouldn't be too difficult to do.
