I have a V6 TS Sedan, if i purchase a Remote unit for remote central locking, will it work straight off after i have asked Mitsubishi to configure the unit for my car? Is all the necessary electronics already inbuilt into the Magnas?

Cyber...
not sure what u mean with all that...

for remote central locking you need to install a reciever/computer in the car to control the central locking solenoid, you can't just buy a transmitter (remote button) and get it to work...

the magna's don't come standard with any remote locking as far as i know.... nor the equipment installed...

just get a remote kit from jaycar or something and install it urself...

Thats what I did in my old TS. It already had the central locking hooked up, so it was a matter of looking at the wiring diagram, stressing, pulling some hair out, then hooking it all up. That however, was with the older style remote. The new one works differently and may pose a problem

I have a 1995 TS Advance Sedan, and it has Central Locking by remote, and is also connected to the alarm. I understand the question you are asking, but I think a phone call to Mitsubishi or go to a dealer Service Workshop and ask them directly. I'm sure you will get your question answered.
