I just have a question regarding ralliart cams in a 3.0 TF engine. Would these work ok? Or are the cams reliant on the extra airflow of a 3.5 to work properly? I was contemplating putting a set in a 3 litre tuned for 95 with a Greddy. What are peoples thoughts?

i think the cams only fit the 3.5l engines(not 100% sure)

The cams should fit both 3 and 3.5, they aren't that different but provide more lift. As always a custom tune would be beneficial along with intake/extractors/exhaust.

They won't fit the 3.0 because the 3.0 has on the LH Bank diferent dowel positions due to the different V depth of the engine block.

they do fit i had a set in my old 3.0l TF, later on i upgraded to an entire ralliart engine, now i'm running a custom grind which is quite a larger lobe than the ralliart and these fit and work in the old 3.0L no hassles, and no problem with lineing up the dowles or blocks either

As i had worked in engine plant in adelaide MMAL i can tell u 4 sure that the ralliart cams will fit into a 3.0 ltr head, Reason being that 3.0 3.5 ralliart heads are all the same heads.Rockers and seals are all the same as are hydrolic lifters LPG got differant valves and that was about it..I would recomend that if you changed to diffrent cams to have an aftermarket tune or a new ecu fitted to corespond with what you are changing too.
