I had been looking into a few ideas for tail light mods and this was one of the ideas. Once I saw the pics of MGNTZD's ride with his new tinted tail lights, that was it. It was the deciding factor, this was the way I was going to go.

Also chucked in a photo with the KJ grill.

These tail lights are by far the best looking after market taillights you can put on a black magna, suit it perfectly.

Thanks for the positive feed back guys.

Gremlin, as for dropping it another inch, it would be awesome. Have thought about it but on a good day it is hard enough to get out of my drive way. If cars are park in the wrong places it would be impossible to get my car out of there with out moving other cars.

Spider-Ken, as for the artsy photos. I was in a rush, it was a park it, point it and shoot it type of day...

M4ddog, they do suit the black magnas really well, I am evening thinking they took the colour and shade of the black magnas into consideration when they made them as they blend in very very well.

These things rocked up Tuesday morning after delay's :(

I was soo stoked, I was going to woof down some breakfast and then install them. Then 3 minutes later i remembered Marty and I had dropped my car off after work the night before to get it serviced

how much do you polish your car? you could almost use the reflection in the second photo as I.D.

nice!!! i'm glad i've inspired someone with what i've done to my car!! i guess you've kinda inspired me to de-badge my car aswell.... except i've been wanting to do it for ages, just been too busy!
I reckon we should both take off our spoilers too... it'll look heaps cleaner! if you do it, i will :P

To be honest, not often enough. I haven't polished it since the very end of last year/very start of this year. I use Auto Glym products, expensive but the effect lasts awhile. My mate even commented the other week when we washed our cars about the water beading on my car and was very surprised when I told him how long ago I had polished/waxed it.

I de badged mine soo long ago I can't remember when I did it but I was in the same boat, wanted to do it but never seemed to have time. To be honest, for the cost (a bit of elbow grease) it does clean the car up alot. I still have my 3.5L badges on, wondering if i should take them off and some "helpful" people removed the 3 diamonds off the bonnet for me

I've also been wanting to de-wing my car, just the same as you and your de-badging. Just getting around to getting quotes and having my car off road while it gets the holes filled in and resprayed.

Generally I hate ricey mods like tinted tailights and duallies, but in your case it definantely adds a touch of class...the tint works well with the body colour, and the twin tips help break it up a bit by adding a bit of contrast.

Good choice of rims too...you car really does look fantastic, don't ruin it :)

Thanks mate. Don't worry, not planning on ruining it. Not a fan of ricey. I think I have a good list of mods soo far, going for more of a sleek look.

ok... i've finally debadged my car and took a few pics, but this is only one that's half decent. You're right, it looks soo sexy without the badges!! oh, and i reckon i'll be removing the 3.5L badges soon too, once i get clear indicators.
