Just a Quick question and I have done a search...

I have bought a smashed 2000 3.5 TH Magna (Side hit) the motor and Gearbox are all fine..

My question is

1.. Can I just swap the entire Motor, Gearbox, Loom and ECU...(would this plug into the TE)

2.. Or just swap the Motor and use my loom and ECU.....

I have heaps of time to do the job... And it is not in my interest to sell it and buy a 3.5 powered car...I love my car its just thats its now done 230k and the engine is getting a bit tried.....

wellll, few people have done the engine swap, only person that comes to my mind would be slamed? although im pretty sure that you can use your loom and ecu.

can u use the 3.0 computer on the 3.5, or do you have to change them over?

I'm getting this conversion done this week, 3.0 ECU will run the 3.5, but some motors might have timing issues down low, otherrs get away with it. But I'd suggest running 98 octane if not retuning to suit.
