At the state race meeting on fri / sat / sun at sandown raceway .. . .

chaps from adelaide brought over their tl? vrx - and ran it in improved production catagory (class includes rx 7's, te 50 ford, datsun 1600's, a early vw golf, etc)

rules can be seen on the www.cams.com.au website

anyways - car was nicly presented, and ran in the 1.27's and was very consistant.

the guys were friendly / competitive and had zero problems......

i dont know the guys - but head mechanic suggested it makes around 190kw at front wheels (am sue someone in the sa branch of this forum can provide detaisl / links / good pictures etc) which is an impressive result....

understand there are 4 or 5 cars running in s.a...

brakes at the front looked to be evo 8/9 upgrade (bda sep disk / hat and nice 4 spots), rears looked std (apart from good pads)

car was very well balanced through the corners, and well steered - good to see it on a track

that would be the "eddy wreckers" magna, has been around for quite a while now

ive had a talk to them they have very different ideas to improving their magna than what seems to be common knowledge on this forum,

from what i understand aswell jasons TH was quicker around mallala than eddy wreckers car, and this was b4 it was well over 200 atws.

and yes it does make around 190 atws

Yes there is actually a few of us.

I was helping Ian out the other week with his car and saw there new twin throttle body set up (using two 65mm magna TB's), very impressive but definately not suitable to a street appllication due to the very short length runners. :)
I even explained there design/set up to EZboy and he agreed it wouldnt be very street suitable.

There car is getting very well sorted out now, definately helps when they own a large mitsubishi wrecking yard.
