well i finally decided on an amp, and i picked it up today.... an oh so sekseh focal fp1.800 mono block, 800rms @ 1ohm so more than enough mumbo to get the idmax doin its thing, goin to bali next tuesday so when i get back a focal fp2.75 is next on the agenda then ill finish off the install! oh and also got a bulk pack of dynamat last weekend and did the front doors inner and outer, and all the trouble spots in the boot including parcel shelf, finally making a move on the new install yay!

i give it a week then you'll sell it to buy something different :P

Just be careful placing your electronics on the carpet, ESD can kill the IC.

as for amps on carpet, even the pro's do it, never heard of one being damaged, most are mounted to carpet anyway :P RAM on the other hand..
