Hi, as you may know ive just acquired a TL and i have a few worries...
1) is it a genuine VRX? It doesn't have the TCL button or dash light for it when they are all supposed to have it, also i can only find 8 speakers (apparently there is 10). It does have the body kit, seats with the emblem etc. There are no power window controls on the front doors, but they are on rear seats and in the centre console we have all the controls. i feel its a pimped up VR, but not as far as the vr-x is.
2) i believe from reading the VIN that its the 16th TL, or 16th tl vrx made (vin ends in 000016), its build date is 04-03 when they weren't officially released until June, and it had its free 1500 k service done at "Mitsubishi motors aust ltd service centre" on 1/5/03. The front of the book even lists first owner as Mitsubishi motors. If this is one of the first test TL's then it could be good because they weren't being massed produced really then and more attention to detail, or you could argue that they hadn't worked out the bugs so it could be about to fall apart (has 61,000 k's on it). Only build problem ive seen is that when you click open the cover that conceals the cup holders at the front you need to nudge it up a bit as it gets caught on itself.
Oh and, whats this thing? could it be connected to the sunroof? maybe a rain sensor?

For the tcl, i may just dump the clutch and see what happens
