how do you take off the fuel line between filter and the tank on verada wagon
it is a small bent hose with internal clips

fuel filters on magnas have a special clip that needs a special tool to remove it. its just a little plastic thing that slides over it and unclips it. they aren't expensive, try your local auto shop.

Yeah that special tool is a life saver. But Ihave removed the line before using conventional tools. The clip is a push-pull type clip.

So you have to push the line in towards the filter to lossenthe internal clip, then using some long nose pliers hold the clip tabs in as you pull the line off. It's a handfull, so I suggest buying the tool, as you might damage the line.

Also I suggest checking the condition of the rubber O rings inside the line before re-connecting. You have to remove the internal clip to get to the rings, but it's easy.

If they look damaged or worn, you can get a multi size pack of O rings from Supercheap Auto for under $10.

SuperCheap will have black rubber O rings, which would be destroyed by fuel in days! If anybody needs to change O rings on injectors, fuel lines, etc... please use the correct grade O ring. They are all different.
