Hi I need some help I’ve decided to get some MAGS for my 92 TR magna. I have chosen the Speedy Wheels Longchamps but I’m unsure whether to get 16" or 17"
i like how both sizes look (17" are hotter of course) the main reason I think 16" is because of the cost to replace the tires.
Any ideas or comment would be appreciated.

they look sweet, 17" should be big enough for your car.
See if anyone here can photo chop it for ya for your car, you should get a better picture then.

what do you want to do with your car just drive it round the city take off hard from lights drags etc if so the 17s but if ya wanna get nasty and try drifting or anything sporty a touch of offroad maybe then go 16s

i chose 16s for my car because although i am in a decent financial situation now i dont know if it will change in the future and if it does i dont want to be forced to pay $200 for a single tyre. A decent tyre in 16" you can get for like $120-$130 ea
good choice dude I want pics when ya get em on ya car.
ANd mrbquart do you have pics of yours with the 16s on it atm... i'm thinkin of gettin 16s on mine and lookin for ideas much to most of my mates disgust they still want me to get 17s. but i feel the 16s will be more solid and far less chance of cracking etc

to tell u the truth the 16s still are not on. Good Year is currently straightening one of the rims and is fitting the new tyres to them, i will pick them up next week and put them on.
I purchased these rims as a project and they are almost completed
had to strip them, straighten 1, sand them and paint them. My car is also going in to get repaired on monday (from me crashing it) so hopefully by friday i have my car back with the new rims.

I got 16's put on my car, cause I got the whole set for $350 - they are the standard FTO rims - bargain! Looks better than standard, but not as cool as 17's

17"s look much better. But don't touch the gutter as this will crack the rims. Guy up the road has 17's with cracks in two of his rims.( he went with more rim, less tyre) What does this mean? Keep your rims (and mind) out of the gutter!! Forgot to mention, he drives a Ford.
P.S. I have no first hand Knowledge or experience. This is just gossip and gibberish( the foundation to every good story)
