the bolts are the same size as the front block bracket to the front engine support bolts

first time I have heard of them falling out of a magna

there were inch long or close ...to check the threads before replacing incase the block has stripped

someone must have forgotten to tighten them after replacing an engine mount

12mmx26mm, this is from a TP parts catalogue, should be the same as TM. 50-60Nm torque and I think a 17mm spanner needed

Thanks guys. I took a bolty out of the front mount and got two the same. The correct size is 12 x 1.25 x 26.But I found the thread had stripped for whatever reason, so had to get some 35mm long, which are holding nicely.

wow to strip a thread from those bolts... i didn't know it was possible!

Those bolts are so hard to get to and so large for a thread to strip would take a load of effort... somebody seriously screwed up somewhere there lol

I don't know how they stripped. I have had the car for 18 years, and the engine mounts have never been changed in that time. The only time anyone could have touched them was when I had the gearbox worked on about 15 years ago,but that would have reared its ugly head before now.

that bracket doesnt need to be undone or touched to do any gearbox work

you found it before doing highway running
