Hi guys, gave the throttle body a spray yesterday by moving the snorkle to one side and actuating the throttle by the cable next to the throttle body and now the throttle will not come to rest on the stop, instead resting 1 or 2 mm away making it idle around 1200rpm in drive.
I can put my foot under the accelerator pedal and pull it back but it does the same thing again after accelerating.
Trying to turn the throttle back in the engine bay but it just springs back of the stop.
I can not see anywhere that is holding the cable up but i am thinking the problem is on the pedal side under the dash somewhere.
Any help appreciated.

Good rag and kero will clean up a TB nicely. The degreasers aren't meant to get into contact with any plastic components of the TB esp the idle speed controller. Anyways, as andrewd said; you've got a bit of crud stuck at the edge of your butterfly. remove the 5bolts, vac line, TPS wire and ISC wire and check it properly - lest it's more than just crud and it falls into your plenum and motor

normaly i usee carby cleaner and a rag and then give a dose of wd40

some times the cleaners thin out the gunk and run into the throttle shaft making them sticky

Cheers guys, been so busy lately. Still have the problem, it actually seems to idle too low when i get the throttle to rest on the stop.
Will give it a good clean when i change the plugs etc.
