k, when driving if i try to quickly shift into 5th it grinds. if i do it slowly or normaly its fine. only just started to do it. all the other gears are fine. So any ideas how to fix or what it is? and yes im no mechanic so simple solutions are appreciated aswell , my guess is that the bearings are buggered :/

Yep, Syncro's gone...sorry to say, not a cheap fix!

prob cheaper to source another gearbox maybe. i just payed $1350 for mine installed with a 6months warrenty

fair enough. even wen my gb was completly stuffed it never crunched 3rd, 1st n 2nd had a huge diff whine, 3rd fine, 4th n 5th grinded and all sorts of noises and reverse just didnt work
