OK.... I got my self a KR Verada XI, with the works for that year(except sunroof).

So my plans are to take out the Power windows, power mirrors (as i have a glx, no power mirrors), Cruise control, climate control, power drivers seat and the front bumber.

Just wanted to let you guys know as i have a few questions,
In reguards to the power windows all i need to do is take all the loom out and motors right?, cos i have started taking out the motors in the back.

With the drivers seat will i need to take out the main fuse box on the drivers side to have all the extra plugs?

And what does everyone think off my silly ideas, (i got the car for $350, and the wreckers wanted $225 for the front bumper alone!!!!!)
Also anyone want the back seats? (i got a wagon)

With the power windows it will also look alot better if you switch over the door cards because they wont hav the holes for window winder.

Yeh i am also taking all the door trims out as the front have speaker pods.

Remove complete dash and wiring from both, put all the XI gear in with climate control, windows, ETACS etc and you will have a ripper wagon to drive.

All will bolt straight in

make sure you have a few V's or some good old coffee cause your gonna need it...GL!

My guess, he had a GLX and has already spent an entire weekend converting it to EFI..if i had done that, i would keep the car - not only because i liked the car but because trading up to a rada would defeat the purpose of the work already done :P

esp when it's had a great worklog attached to it... can't let it all go to waste!

yeh the car i got needs, a sump gasget(massive hole in it, i poured oil in cos there was none and i poured out the hole i found after i did that.)

Massive ding in the side panel(the have replaced with a executive blue door so its no longer two tone the whole way round.

All the paint is fading real bad. other than that its awsomem, inside is really good. i was thinking of fixing it up but.... i dont really want to cos i dont have the time or money at the moment. plus i got it cos of the bumper the rest is just 'free' stuff.

it's true i love my wagon and i know that the engine is gonna last even though its at 250000km but i fixed it really well at 245000kms. if the rada was a wagon i would 100% do it, and even manual conversion it but.. its a sedan.

If you want a v6 wagon, you can unpick the lh mount from the rada and have it welded to the wagon. Done properly no one will tell it has been done.

Swap out all running gear as the rada has better lowercontrol arms and larger brakes, depending if has abs will also have twin spot fronts.

Dump in motor and trans (or get a cheap 5 speed), change over the inside, you will have the only xi verada wagon known to exist lol

Can I "loan" the alternator off the KR to see if it solves an issue with the mrs' KR? or will you sell it to me real cheap?
